The quick take

  • Price: $0.368, down 1.0% in 24 hours and 13.1% in seven days (CoinGecko, 19:40 UTC).
  • Trigger: No Jito announcement since Sept. 28; the token drifted lower as Solana ($SOL) fell 2.2% on the day.
  • Watch: The 24-hour low near $0.368 and the flow of deposits into Jito’s staking pool.

What happened

The Jito token slips to $0.368 on Sunday afternoon, its lowest level of the past 24 hours. Jito ($JTO) was down 1.0% on the day and 13.1% over seven days as of 2:40 p.m. ET, according to CoinGecko.

The 24-hour range ran from $0.379 to $0.368. On Binance’s JTO/USDT pair, the hourly price peaked near $0.380 around 04:00 UTC. It then eased every hour after 15:00 UTC.

Other readings agree on the week. CoinGecko’s coin page showed a 13.6% weekly drop a few minutes later, and CoinPaprika showed 13.4%. Jupiter’s price of $0.367 sat 0.3% below CoinGecko’s.

Why it moved

No single trigger is confirmed. Jito’s own blog shows no new post since Sept. 28, and no major crypto outlet reported Jito-specific news on Sunday.

The slide tracks a weaker Solana market. Solana ($SOL) fell 2.2% in 24 hours and 7.5% in a week to $93.77, per CoinGecko. Bitcoin ($BTC) was up 0.3% at $77,730, according to LiveCoinWatch.

Deposits in Jito’s staking pool also shrank in dollar terms. DefiLlama puts Jito Liquid Staking at $975.2 million, down 8.1% in seven days. That figure is measured in dollars, so it falls when the $SOL price falls.

Who’s buying and selling

Trading in Jito’s largest on-chain pool stays light. The JTO/JitoSOL pool on Orca logged 182 buys and 143 sells in 24 hours, per DexScreener, with about $958,000 in liquidity. GeckoTerminal counted 182 buys and 141 sells in the same pool.

That pool traded only about $31,000 in a day, so its buyers say little about the wider market. Across all venues, CoinGecko shows $9.7 million in 24-hour volume and a market value of $198.3 million.

What to watch next

The 24-hour low near $0.368 is the nearest marker. The record low of $0.218, set on Feb. 5, 2026, sits about 41% below the current price. The record high of $6.01 dates from Dec. 7, 2023, per CoinGecko.

Also watch Jito Liquid Staking on DefiLlama. If deposits keep falling while $SOL holds steady, that would point to real outflows rather than a price effect.

Bottom line: Jito’s token ends a hard week at its daily low, with no Jito-specific news behind the slide.
