Raydium token steadies at $1.80 and holds on to a week of gains

Raydium ($RAY) traded at $1.80 at 6:40 p.m. ET on Saturday, up 0.6% in 24 hours, after a midday dip to about $1.75 faded.

A coin with the Raydium hexagon logo stands on a glowing platform in a futuristic waterfront city at dusk, with a light trail dipping and rising behind it.

The quick take

  • Price: $RAY traded at $1.80, up 0.6% over 24 hours (CoinGecko, 23:39 UTC).
  • Trigger: No Raydium announcement in the past day explains the move; buyers led the main RAY/USDC pool with 1,402 trades to 937 sales.
  • Watch: Whether the token stays above its 24-hour low of $1.74 while Solana ($SOL) sits 7.0% lower on the week.

The Raydium token steadies near $1.80 after a choppy Saturday. Raydium ($RAY) traded at $1.80 at 6:40 p.m. ET (23:39 UTC), up 0.6% over 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. Jupiter’s price feed showed the same level, a gap of 0.25%.

What happened

CoinGecko put the 24-hour range at $1.74 to $1.81. On Binance’s RAY/USDT pair, hourly closes slipped to about $1.75 by 17:00 UTC. They climbed back to $1.79 by 23:00 UTC.

The token is still up over seven days, though the readings differ. CoinGecko’s market list shows a 9.3% gain and its coin page shows 10%. CoinPaprika shows 9.9%.

Why it moved

No Raydium announcement in the past day explains the move, so the cause is not confirmed. The weekly gain stands out because the wider market went the other way. Solana ($SOL) is down 7.0% over seven days, per CoinGecko.

Trading on the exchange also cooled. DefiLlama’s latest 24-hour reading shows $179.2 million in Raydium DEX volume, down from $219.3 million in the 24 hours before. Raydium’s revenue in that latest reading was $84,226.

Who’s buying and selling

In the largest RAY/USDC pool on Raydium, buyers made 1,402 trades in 24 hours against 937 sales, GeckoTerminal data shows. The pool held about $6.5 million in liquidity.

Across all markets, CoinGecko counted $18.4 million in $RAY trading volume over 24 hours. It puts the token’s market value at $486.5 million.

What to watch next

The first test is whether $RAY stays above its 24-hour low of $1.74 if $SOL keeps sliding. The second is Raydium’s own trading volume. A token that rises while activity on its exchange falls is worth tracking in the next daily readings.

Bottom line: Raydium’s token held near $1.80 on Saturday and kept its weekly gain, even as trading on the exchange slowed.
