The quick take

  • Price: $0.00379, −6.2% ↓ in 24 hours (CoinGecko, 7:40 a.m. ET)
  • Trigger: a slow slide from Friday’s peak that sped up after 5 a.m. ET on Saturday; no cause confirmed
  • Watch: whether the token holds near $0.0038, the low of its 24-hour range

What happened

Pump.fun ($PUMP) traded at $0.00379 at 12:40 UTC (7:40 a.m. ET) on Saturday, down 6.2% in 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. The Pump.fun token retreats to the bottom of its daily range, near a 24-hour low of $0.00380. Jupiter’s price feed showed the same drop: $0.00380, down 6.2%.

The 24-hour high was $0.00416, per CoinGecko. That leaves $PUMP 9.0% below the top of its range.

Hourly prices on Binance’s PUMP/USDT pair show the shape of the move. The token peaked near $0.00410 at 10 a.m. ET on Friday and drifted lower overnight. It then slipped faster after 5 a.m. ET on Saturday, reaching $0.00379 by 7:41 a.m. ET.

Why it moved

The cause is not confirmed. The wider market was calmer than $PUMP. Solana ($SOL) slipped 0.8% to $89.84 on CoinGecko, and Bitcoin ($BTC) eased 0.4% to $75,870, according to LiveCoinWatch.

So the token fell harder than the large coins around it. For context, the Pump.fun platform earned $975,000 in revenue over the past day and $7.3 million over seven days, according to DefiLlama.

Who’s buying and selling

Pool data gives a mixed picture. On Orca’s PUMP/SOL pool, tracked by DexScreener, buys outnumbered sells 25,985 to 22,911 over 24 hours. That pool held $2.5 million in liquidity.

GeckoTerminal’s top pool, PUMP/USDC on PumpSwap, leaned the other way. It logged 6,159 sells against 5,671 buys, with $21.9 million in liquidity.

Total trading volume across markets was $99.1 million, per CoinGecko. The token’s market value stands at $1.74 billion.

What to watch next

The first level is $0.0038, the bottom of the 24-hour range. A close look at PumpSwap trades will show whether sellers keep the lead there.

The token sits 57% below its record high of $0.00882, set on Sept. 14, 2025, according to CoinGecko. A statement from Pump.fun would be the first confirmed reason for the drop.

Bottom line: The Pump.fun token fell 6.2% to $0.00379 in a slide that sped up Saturday morning, and no cause is confirmed yet.
