- Price: $0.0303, -7.0% in 24 hours (CoinGecko, 11:30 a.m. ET).
- Trigger: Most of the drop came after 10 a.m. ET, with no Kamino announcement to explain it.

What happened
$KMNO fell from a 24-hour high of $0.0326 to $0.0303, CoinGecko data shows. Jupiter’s price feed gave $0.0303 at the same time, a gap of 0.3%.
The weekly readings differ a little by tracker. CoinGecko puts the 7-day loss at 28.1%, while CoinPaprika shows 29.3%.
Kamino Finance’s market value is now about $179 million, with $6.4 million traded in 24 hours (CoinGecko). The token sits about 88% below its record of $0.2478 from Dec. 15, 2024.
Why it moved
The day began quietly. On Binance’s KMNO/USDT pair, hourly prices held near $0.032 from midnight to about 10 a.m. ET. Then selling picked up, and the price reached $0.0303 by 11:31 a.m. ET.
A search of Kamino’s forum and website showed no new announcement in the past day, so the cause is not confirmed. The wider market was soft too. Solana ($SOL) slipped 1.5%, and Bitcoin ($BTC) lost 1.1%, per LiveCoinWatch.
Other Solana DeFi tokens fell less. Jupiter Exchange ($JUP) and Raydium ($RAY) each lost 3.9%, and Orca DEX ($ORCA) lost 4.2% (CoinGecko). Kamino’s 7.0% drop was the largest among the 10 Solana ecosystem tokens we track.
Who’s buying and selling
The largest $KMNO pool trades against USDC on Orca and holds about $1.7 million in liquidity. Over 24 hours it logged 13,714 sells and 11,470 buys, DexScreener data shows. GeckoTerminal gave a close second reading: 13,703 sells and 11,510 buys.
Trade counts show how many trades took place, not their size. Still, sellers have kept a steady lead through the day.
What to watch next
- Whether the pool’s sell lead fades or grows over the next sessions.
- Any statement from Kamino Finance on the slide.
- How $KMNO trades if the wider Solana DeFi market steadies.
Bottom line: Kamino Finance’s token has lost more than a quarter of its value in a week, and no announcement explains Monday’s leg lower.
