Pump.fun weekly revenue falls 18% as its daily take keeps shrinking

The quick take

  • Price: $PUMP traded at $0.004179, down 0.5% in 24 hours (Binance PUMP/USDT, as of 6:42 p.m. ET).
  • Trigger: Pump.fun earned $8.2 million in revenue over the latest seven days, down 18% from $10.0 million the week before, per DefiLlama.
  • Watch: whether the daily take climbs back above $1 million, and how fees on its exchange, PumpSwap, hold up.

Pump.fun weekly revenue has dropped 18%. The Solana ($SOL) token launchpad behind Pump.fun ($PUMP) earned $8.2 million over the latest seven days, down from $10.0 million the week before, according to DefiLlama data read at 23:49 UTC on Nov. 1.

The slide sped up at the end of the week. The latest 24-hour reading came in at $983,028, the first daily figure under $1 million in about seven weeks.

What happened

DefiLlama tracks how much of the fees paid on Pump.fun the project keeps as revenue. Its latest weekly total is $8.22 million, against $10.05 million for the seven days before that.

The week started stronger. One daily reading reached $1.40 million, then each of the next five came in lower than the one before. The last of them, $983,028, was 10.8% below the reading a day earlier.

Fees paid by users fell too, but a little less. DefiLlama shows $11.6 million in weekly fees, down 16% from $13.9 million. Over 30 days, Pump.fun’s revenue adds up to $43.6 million.

That works out to about $1.45 million a day on average. The latest daily reading sits roughly a third below that pace, which shows how fast the last few days cooled.

Why it moved

Pump.fun earns when people create and trade tokens on its launchpad and on PumpSwap, its own exchange. Less trading means smaller fees, and smaller fees mean less revenue.

Money parked on PumpSwap has also shrunk. DefiLlama puts its total value locked at $316.3 million, down 6.5% in seven days. Across all of Solana, DefiLlama counts $5.46 billion locked in DeFi.

Trading across Solana’s exchanges stayed busy at the same time. DefiLlama’s latest 24-hour reading shows $953.6 million in DEX volume on the network, a figure for the whole network rather than Pump.fun alone.

No single event explains the drop. Pump.fun has not said why activity slowed, so the cause is not confirmed.

Who’s buying and selling

The $PUMP token held steady while revenue fell. It traded at $0.004179 on Binance, down 0.5% in 24 hours. Jupiter showed $0.004173, a gap of 0.14%.

Buyers still outnumbered sellers in the main pools. DexScreener counted 16,915 buys and 14,391 sells in 24 hours in the largest $PUMP pool, paired with $SOL on Orca. GeckoTerminal showed 6,541 buys and 4,412 sells in the $PUMP and USDC pool on PumpSwap.

That pool held $22.9 million in liquidity, per GeckoTerminal. Steady pool demand and a calm price suggest holders are not reacting to the weaker week yet.

What to watch next

The first signal is the next daily reading. A return above $1 million would point to a short dip, while another drop would extend the slide into a second week.

The second is the gap between fees and revenue. This week, Pump.fun kept about 71% of the fees users paid. A change in that share would move revenue even if trading stays flat.

The third is PumpSwap’s deposits. Fewer dollars in its pools can mean thinner trading, which feeds back into fees.

Bottom line: Pump.fun’s revenue fell for five readings in a row and closed the week 18% lower, while its token held steady.
