Kamino Finance ($KMNO) rose 14% in 24 hours to $0.0341 as of 12:42 p.m. ET on Tuesday, though it is still down about 15% for the week.
The quick take
- Price: $0.0341, +13.9% ↑ in 24 hours on Binance’s KMNO/USDT pair.
- Trigger: No confirmed cause. The climb began around 3 a.m. ET and sped up after 9 a.m. ET.
- Watch: Whether the token holds above $0.0313, where it sat late in the morning, while its weekly loss is still near 15%.
The Kamino Finance token rebounds on Tuesday after a rough week. Kamino Finance ($KMNO) traded at $0.0341 at 12:42 p.m. ET, up 14% in 24 hours on Binance’s KMNO/USDT pair. CoinGecko showed the same 14% gain a few minutes later.
What happened
$KMNO spent Monday evening and the night near $0.030. Its lowest hourly close on Binance was $0.02915 at 4 p.m. ET on Monday. The token then held between $0.0297 and $0.0300 until early Tuesday.
The climb started around 3 a.m. ET, when $KMNO closed the hour at $0.0304. It reached $0.0314 by 6 a.m. ET and paused near $0.0313 at 9 a.m. ET. The biggest push came next: a 4.3% gain in the hour to 10 a.m. ET, followed by more steps to $0.0341.
Why it moved
No rated news outlet had tied the rise to a specific event as of 12:42 p.m. ET, so the cause is not confirmed. The move was mostly the token’s own: Solana ($SOL) gained 0.9% over the same 24 hours on Binance.
The jump only trims a weak week. CoinGecko and CoinPaprika both put the seven-day loss near 15%. $KMNO also trades about 86% below its record high of $0.248 from December 2024, according to CoinGecko.
Who’s buying and selling
The token’s biggest pool is KMNO/USDC on Orca, with about $1.83 million in liquidity, per DexScreener. It logged 21,563 buys and 23,298 sells over 24 hours. GeckoTerminal showed nearly the same split, with 21,527 buys and 23,260 sells.
So sell orders outnumbered buys, even as the price rose. These counts show the number of trades, not their size. Larger buy orders can lift a price while smaller sells keep coming.
What to watch next
The first test is whether $KMNO stays above $0.0313, the level it held through the morning before the late push. A slip back under it would erase most of Tuesday’s gain.
The second is a cause. A post from Kamino Finance or a report from a rated outlet would show whether news drove the rise or traders simply bought back a deep weekly drop.
Bottom line: Kamino Finance’s token won back 14% in a day, but it is still down about 15% for the week and no cause is confirmed.
