A large brushed-metal coin with a green and white pill emblem stands on a low plinth in a sunlit glass city by calm water.

Pump.fun ($PUMP) is lower again on Sunday. The Pump.fun token slips 6.2% over 24 hours to $0.004189, according to CoinGecko data as of 11:40 a.m. ET on Oct. 18. Jupiter priced it at $0.004164 at the same time.

The quick take

  • Price: $0.004189, -6.2% ↓ in 24 hours (CoinGecko, 11:40 a.m. ET).
  • Trigger: no project news explains the drop; selling ran from Saturday evening into Sunday.
  • Watch: whether buy trades take the lead in both of its top pools.

What happened

$PUMP traded as high as $0.004483 in the past 24 hours, CoinGecko shows. At $0.004189, it sits near the bottom of that range.

The token’s market value is about $1.94 billion. Trading volume over the same 24 hours was $103.7 million, per CoinGecko.

Why it moved

We found no Pump.fun announcement tied to the drop, so the cause is not confirmed. The slide was steady rather than sudden.

On Binance’s PUMP/USDT pair, the token held near $0.00445 through Saturday afternoon ET. It stepped down to about $0.00432 by early evening and kept drifting lower through Sunday.

The wider market was softer, but by less. Solana ($SOL) was down 1.9% on CoinGecko. LiveCoinWatch showed Bitcoin ($BTC) down 0.5% and Ether ($ETH) down 1.6% at 11:41 a.m. ET.

Who’s buying and selling

The two pool trackers tell different stories. DexScreener’s top pool, a PUMP/SOL pair, logged 42,474 buys and 38,960 sells over 24 hours.

GeckoTerminal’s top pool, a PUMP/USDC pair on PumpSwap with $22.7 million in liquidity, showed the opposite: 7,359 buys against 8,085 sells. Trade counts do not show trade size, so neither reading proves which side moved more tokens.

What to watch next

Pump.fun’s own trading venue stays busy. PumpSwap led Solana DEXs with $194.5 million in volume in DefiLlama’s latest 24-hour reading, out of $1.25 billion across the chain.

DefiLlama also lists $1.14 million in Pump.fun revenue over the latest 24 hours and $9.81 million over seven days. Watch whether $PUMP holds near its 24-hour low, and whether buyers lead in both top pools again.

Bottom line: $PUMP fell more than the wider market on Sunday, with no clear trigger and mixed signals from its top pools.
