Pump.fun token rebounds 11% and holds its gains into Monday

Pump.fun ($PUMP) rose 11% in 24 hours to $0.004377 as of 5:40 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 19, after a climb late on Sunday.

A green clay coin with a green and white pill emblem stands on short legs on a rocky ledge, with a red-then-green clay line behind it and a seaside village beyond.

Pump.fun ($PUMP) is higher to start the week. The Pump.fun token rebounds 11% over 24 hours to $0.004377, according to CoinGecko data as of 5:40 p.m. ET on Oct. 19. Jupiter priced it at $0.004392 at the same time.

The quick take

  • Price: $0.004377, +11% ↑ in 24 hours (CoinGecko, 5:40 p.m. ET).
  • Trigger: no project news explains the gain; most of it came late on Sunday, ET.
  • Watch: whether $PUMP keeps the gain while it is still down 16% over seven days.

What happened

$PUMP traded between $0.003988 and $0.004546 in the past 24 hours, CoinGecko shows. At $0.004377, it sits in the upper part of that range.

The token’s market value is about $2.02 billion. Trading volume over the same 24 hours was $216.9 million, per CoinGecko. Over seven days, $PUMP is still down 16%.

Why it moved

We found no Pump.fun announcement tied to the rise, so the cause is not confirmed. The gain came in one stretch and then held.

On Binance’s PUMP/USDT pair, the token closed near $0.00394 in the 5 p.m. ET hour on Sunday. It climbed to about $0.00445 by midnight. Through most of Monday it stayed between about $0.00439 and $0.00451, with a small dip in the 4 p.m. hour.

The wider market also rose, but by less. Solana ($SOL) gained 2.9% on CoinGecko. LiveCoinWatch showed Bitcoin ($BTC) up 1.2% at $81,978 and Ether ($ETH) up 1.7% at 5:41 p.m. ET.

Who's buying and selling

The two pool trackers disagree again. DexScreener’s top pool, a PUMP/SOL pair, logged 19,422 buys and 23,717 sells over 24 hours.

GeckoTerminal’s top pool, a PUMP/USDC pair on PumpSwap with $23.3 million in liquidity, showed the opposite: 8,955 buys against 6,311 sells. Trade counts do not show trade size, so neither reading proves which side moved more tokens.

What to watch next

Pump.fun’s own trading venue stays busy. PumpSwap led Solana DEXs with $467.3 million in volume in DefiLlama’s latest 24-hour reading, out of $1.70 billion across the chain.

DefiLlama also lists $1.24 million in Pump.fun revenue over the latest 24 hours and $9.61 million over seven days. Watch whether $PUMP stays near the level it held on Monday, and whether buy trades take the lead in both top pools.

Bottom line: $PUMP beat the wider market with an 11% gain on Monday, but it has not yet won back its weekly loss.
