What happened

Binance hourly data show $KMNO near $0.033 from Tuesday afternoon until about 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday. CoinGecko lists a 24-hour low of $0.03218.

Most of the gain came after that. The token climbed to about $0.0372 in the early afternoon, then eased back. CoinGecko puts the 24-hour high at $0.03734, about 2.5% above the latest price.

Other readings agree on the move. CoinGecko shows $0.03635 and a 6.6% daily gain at 19:46 UTC, and Jupiter’s price feed shows $0.03636. Over 30 days, the token is still down 10.3%, per CoinGecko.

Why it moved

No single cause is confirmed. Large coins rose at the same time: Bitcoin ($BTC) gained 3.3% and Ether ($ETH) 5.6% in 24 hours, per LiveCoinWatch at 19:42 UTC.

Kamino’s plans were also in the news. CryptoSlate reported at 1:50 p.m. ET on a Kamino release from Nov. 3. It says the Kamino Foundation will commit $20 million over the next 24 months to its growth plans.

CryptoSlate adds that most of CEO Michael Weisz’s $KMNO allocation vests only when higher valuations are reached and held. The release, as quoted by CryptoSlate, says: “KMNO is not a claim on Foundation revenue, distributions or equity.”

Who’s buying and selling

On the largest $KMNO pool, an Orca KMNO/USDC pool, DexScreener counted 26,210 buys and 27,199 sells in 24 hours. Trade counts show activity, not size, so slightly more sells can come with a rising price.

That pool held about $1.9 million in liquidity. Kamino Lend, the project’s lending market, held $1.24 billion in deposits, per DefiLlama.

What to watch next

  • Whether $KMNO stays above $0.036 or retests its 24-hour high of $0.03734.
  • Whether Kamino publishes the valuation milestones; CryptoSlate notes the release did not list them.
  • Deposits in Kamino Lend on DefiLlama, the main gauge of demand for its lending market.

Bottom line: $KMNO gained 7.0% in a day on an afternoon climb, but it remains 10.3% lower over 30 days.
