Jupiter Exchange token sinks 7.8% in a slide into Saturday afternoon

The Jupiter Exchange token sinks 7.8% in a day to $0.285 as of 1:41 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 24.

A chrome bull follows a dark coin with Jupiter's striped green-to-teal sphere logo as it rolls down a curved glass ramp in a sunlit city of glass towers.

The quick take

  • Price: $0.285, down 7.8% in 24 hours and 2.9% in seven days (CoinGecko).
  • Trigger: a broad Saturday slide across Solana tokens; no Jupiter announcement explains the drop.
  • Watch: the day’s low of $0.278 and whether the selling eases as $SOL trades near $100.

The Jupiter Exchange token sinks 7.8% over the past day. Jupiter ($JUP) traded at $0.285 at 17:40 UTC (1:40 p.m. ET), according to CoinGecko. Jupiter’s own price feed showed $0.2851, a gap of 0.1%.

What happened

$JUP spent the last 24 hours between a high of $0.311 and a low of $0.278 on CoinGecko. The token is now 7.4% lower than 30 days ago.

On Binance’s JUP/USDT pair, the price slipped hour by hour from Friday evening. The steepest leg came on Saturday afternoon UTC, when the pair lost about 2.7% in one hour. A small bounce followed, to $0.2855 at 17:41 UTC.

CoinGecko puts the token’s market value at $948 million, with $60.9 million traded over 24 hours.

Why it moved

The drop came on a weak day for Solana tokens. Solana ($SOL) fell 4.1% to $100.08. Pump.fun ($PUMP) lost 9.1% and Jito ($JTO) 8.2%, all per CoinGecko.

Larger coins slipped less. $BTC was down 1.8% and $ETH 3.8% over 24 hours, according to LiveCoinWatch.

Jupiter’s own channels show no new announcement on Friday or Saturday. The cause of the token’s steeper fall is not confirmed.

Who’s buying and selling

Trading on-chain stayed close to even. $JUP’s largest pool on Solana, a JUP/SOL pair on Orca, logged 7,025 buys and 6,848 sells over 24 hours, per DexScreener. The pool held about $633,000 in liquidity.

So the fall did not come from a rush of sell orders in that pool. Most of the volume traded elsewhere.

What to watch next

The first marker is Saturday’s low of $0.278. The token is still about 110% above its record low of $0.136 from Feb. 12, 2026, and 86% below its $2.00 peak from January 2024, per CoinGecko.

The other is the wider Solana market, with $SOL near $100.

Bottom line: $JUP fell harder than most large coins on Saturday, in a slide with no project news behind it.
