What happened

The Jupiter Exchange token rebounds from a Sunday dip and holds its gains into Monday. Jupiter Exchange ($JUP) traded at $0.2953 at 11:40 a.m. ET, up 5.5% in 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.

Over the past day it moved between $0.2757 and $0.2989. On Binance’s JUP/USDT pair, the hourly close bottomed at $0.2777 at 4 p.m. ET Sunday. The token climbed through the night and reached $0.2954 by 11 p.m. ET.

Since then it has traded in a tight band between $0.294 and $0.298. $JUP is worth about $980 million, with $54.2 million traded in 24 hours, per CoinGecko. It is up 4.6% over 30 days but still about 85% below its record high of $2.00 from Jan. 31, 2024.

Why it moved

Jupiter has posted no announcement that explains the rise, so the cause is not confirmed. The move came on a firmer day across crypto.

$SOL rose 2.5% to $104.36, per CoinGecko. LiveCoinWatch showed Bitcoin ($BTC) up 1.2% and Ether ($ETH) up 1.1%. $JUP gained about twice as much as $SOL, and most of that came overnight, before U.S. trading began.

Who’s buying and selling

Trading in Solana pools looked balanced. In the top $JUP pool on DexScreener, an Orca pool paired with $SOL, there were 4,999 buys and 5,252 sells over 24 hours. That pool holds about $715,000 in liquidity.

GeckoTerminal’s top pool, on Meteora, showed 1,481 buys and 1,466 sells, with $1.99 million in liquidity. Neither pool shows a clear tilt toward buyers. Jupiter’s own price feed read $0.2949, within 0.12% of CoinGecko.

What to watch next

Jupiter’s Active Staking Rewards for July to September total 50 million JUP. Users of wallets other than Jupiter Wallet and Jupiter Mobile can start claiming on Oct. 20, according to Jupiter’s rewards page.

Traders will also watch whether $JUP stays above its 24-hour low of $0.2757. A broader market pullback would test how long the overnight gains last.

Bottom line: $JUP climbed 5.5% from a Sunday dip with no project news behind it, and it now trades near the top of its 24-hour range.
