Ondo Finance token rallies 9.9% in a steady climb into Friday night

What happened

The Ondo Finance token rallies into Friday night. Ondo Finance ($ONDO) traded at $0.418 at 7:41 p.m. ET, up 9.9% in 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. LiveCoinWatch showed $0.416 and a 9.6% gain, a gap of 0.4%.

CoinGecko put the 24-hour range at $0.364 to $0.417, so the token traded right at the top of it. Its market value stood near $2.03 billion, with $244.8 million in trading volume over the day.

Why it moved

The rise was slow and steady, not one sharp jump. On Binance’s ONDO/USDT pair, the hourly close bottomed at $0.373 around 9 p.m. ET on Thursday. It reached $0.400 by noon ET on Friday and $0.405 by 4 p.m. ET, then kept climbing into the evening.

The cause is not confirmed. Ondo’s own blog showed no new post on Friday. Its latest update, dated Oct. 29, said its Intelligent Portfolios had gone live on Solana ($SOL).

The gain came on a softer day for the largest coins. Bitcoin ($BTC) slipped 1.7% and Ether ($ETH) 0.8% over 24 hours, according to LiveCoinWatch.

What to watch next

Even after the jump, $ONDO trades about 81% below its record high of $2.14, set on Dec. 15, 2024, per CoinGecko. The first test is whether it can stay near $0.417, the top of its daily range.

The second is the reason. A post on Ondo’s blog or a new product update could explain the buying. Until then, the move has no single confirmed trigger.

Bottom line: The Ondo Finance token gained 9.9% in a quiet, steady climb, and no single trigger is confirmed yet.
