What happened

On Binance’s PUMP/USDT pair, the sharpest hour came between 11 a.m. and noon ET. The price fell 5.2% in that hour, from $0.00576 to $0.00546. It hit its lowest hourly close of $0.00538 at 2 p.m. ET, then climbed 5.6% to $0.00568 by 5:41 p.m. ET.

Why it moved

The cause of the drop is not confirmed. The move came on a weak day for the wider market. $SOL fell 4.9% in 24 hours to $109.89, according to CoinGecko.

On Binance, $SOL lost 3.5% in the same late-morning hour that hit $PUMP hardest. Bitcoin ($BTC) slipped 2.0% and Ether ($ETH) 3.7% over 24 hours, according to LiveCoinWatch.

Who’s buying and selling

Buyers still made more trades than sellers. In the token’s largest pool, PumpSwap’s PUMP/USDC pool, DexScreener counted 11,353 buys and 9,448 sells over 24 hours. GeckoTerminal showed a similar split, with 11,341 buys and 9,360 sells.

That pool holds about $26.4 million in liquidity. Across all markets, CoinGecko put 24-hour trading volume at $436.9 million, against a market value of $2.63 billion.

The platform behind the token kept earning. DefiLlama shows Pump.fun revenue of $1.72 million over 24 hours and $12.41 million over seven days. Its PumpSwap exchange held $375.6 million in deposits.
